Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 August 2026

This describes what we actually collect when you buy a ticket or come through the door, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. It describes the system as built — not an intention.

Who we are

24K Entertainment. For anything on this page, write to privacy@24k-ent.com.

When you buy a ticket

We collect what is needed to sell you a ticket and get it to you:

  • Your name, email address and, if you give it, a phone number.
  • What you bought, for how much, and when.
  • The IP address and browser the order came from, and how you reached us — the referring site and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

We never see your card number. Payment is handled by Stripe; card details go from your browser to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. We keep only the outcome of the payment and the last-four and card brand Stripe reports back.

Buying as a guest still creates a record. If you check out without an account we still keep the order and your contact details, because we have to be able to reissue a ticket, honour a refund, and prove a sale happened.

Age-restricted events: we scan your ID

At events with a minimum age, the door scans the barcode on the back of your government-issued photo ID. Being clear about what that captures:

  • What the barcode contains and we read: your name, date of birth, address, the licence or ID number, the issuing state, the expiry date, and physical description fields printed on the card.
  • What we do not capture: the photograph. The barcode carries text only. We do not photograph you, and we do not run facial recognition.
  • How it is stored: your name, address, date of birth and ID number are encrypted. Your age at the check, the result, the issuing state and the last four digits of the ID number are kept in readable form, because those are what answer a regulator’s question without anyone decrypting your identity.
  • Why we keep it at all: serving a minor costs a venue its liquor licence, and “we always check” is not evidence. The record shows what was checked, by whom and when. It is also what lets us enforce a ban after an incident.

After 6 months your identity is stripped from that record automatically. What survives is that a check happened, the age it returned, and an irreversible one-way code derived from the ID. That code cannot be turned back into your name or number; it exists so the same card is recognised on a later night without anyone reading who you are.

If you work for us

Staff and contractor records — pay, documents, licences, shifts — are covered by the same care. Social security and bank details are encrypted, readable only by the owner, and never shown on an ordinary screen.

How long we keep things

  • Orders and tickets: kept. These are financial records. We are required to be able to produce them.
  • Identity on an ID check: 6 months, then stripped as described above.
  • IP address and browser on an order: 6 months, then cleared. The order itself remains.
  • IP address and browser in our activity log: 6 months, then cleared. What was done, and by whom, remains.
  • Baskets you never paid for: 3 months, then deleted outright.

These are applied by an automated nightly job, not by someone remembering. The windows above are read from the same configuration the job uses.

Marketing

We only email you about future events if you ticked the box. Ticket confirmations, receipts and changes to an event you bought for are not marketing and are sent regardless — you cannot opt out of being told your show moved. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us.

Who else sees your data

  • Stripe — payment processing. They are the controller of your card data, not us.
  • The promoter of an event you attended — attendance numbers and sales figures, not your ID data.
  • Law enforcement or a regulator — where we are legally required, or after an incident at a venue.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

Your choices

Write to privacy@24k-ent.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to stop marketing, or to ask for deletion. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot remove — a paid order is a financial record and we cannot simply erase it, but the identity attached to an ID check can go early on request.

Children

This site is not intended for under-13s and we do not knowingly collect their information. Many of our events are 21+ regardless.

Changes

If this changes materially we will date it again at the top. The version you agreed to at the time of purchase is the one that governs that purchase.

This policy describes how the software behaves. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by an attorney. If you are relying on it in a dispute, ask us for the reviewed version. See also our Terms and Refund policy.

All sales are final unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled. Age-restricted events require valid government-issued photo ID at the door — no exceptions, and no refund for being unable to produce one. Line-ups and set times may change.
